Body

WHEREAS, in a cooperative effort with the Town, The Salvation Army Kearny Corps previously removed donation bins at 28 Beech Street; and

 

WHEREAS, the removal of the bins has created a greater concern because of the large amount of items being dumped in the former bin area and the influx of people sorting through these items; and

 

WHEREAS, The Salvation Army Kearny Corps is proposing to install a warning/information sign and security camera to control this activity, and has requested that the Town waive zoning and permit fees for this work, which fees are estimated not to exceed $200; and

 

WHEREAS, the Town wishes to waive these fees, now, therefore, be it

 

RESOLVED, by the Mayor and Council of the Town of Kearny, Hudson County, New Jersey, that:

 

1.              The Town hereby waives all zoning and permit fees otherwise due from The Salvation Army Kearny Corps for the installation of the warning/information sign and security camera at 28 Beech Street, in an amount not to exceed $200.
