WHEREAS, Manuel Amorim on June 3, 2016 submitted a duplicate payment for a Zoning Permit ($25.00) and a Zoning Certificate of Occupancy ($80.00), receipt #282059 for a total of $105.00 to the Construction Code Enforcement Department (CCED) of the Town of Kearny for the transfer of title from Manuel Amorim to the Barbosa Property Group, LLC regarding 38-40 Tappan Street, Block 266, Lot 16;

 

WHEREAS, after a review of the CCED records it was discovered that on June 3, 2016 receipt #282061 was remitted by Binghamton Strategic for a Zoning Permit ($25.00) and a Zoning Certificate of Occupancy ($80.00), for a total of $105.00, which was processed on June 20, 2016 for the transfer of title;

 

THEREFORE, as receipt #282061 was utilized Mr. Amorim’s payment is a duplicate and he is entitled to a refund;

 

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Mayor and Council of the Town of Kearny that the Chief Financial Officer is hereby authorized to refund Manuel Amorim in the amount of $105.00.
