690 Devon Street and 105 Park Place

Body

              WHEREAS, the Police Department has found and reported that the establishment of a restricted parking zone in front of the residences hereinafter set forth are not otherwise prohibited and the permitting thereof would not interfere with the normal flow of traffic now, therefore, be it

 

              ORDAINED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of Kearny, Hudson County, New Jersey that:

 

1.              A restricted parking zone be and hereby is established in front of the following residences, which are occupied by a handicapped person, at the locations specified:

315 Hickory Street              Beginning at a point 232 feet south              Brian Castorina

              of the northwest curb line of

              Hickory Street and Quincy Avenue

              to a point 22 feet south thereof

690 Devon Street              Beginning at a point 156 feet north              Christine Donnelly

              of the northeast curb line of

              Devon Street and Laurel Avenue

              to a point 22 feet south thereof

105 Park Place              Beginning at a point 176 feet south              Wallace Beaton

              of the southwest curb line of

              Park Place and Park Avenue

              to a point 22 feet south thereof

             

2.              No zone shall not be established, however, unless a windshield placard or wheelchair symbol license plates have been issued for a vehicle owned by the handicapped person, or by another occupant of the residence who is a member of the immediate family of the handicapped person, by the Division of Motor Vehicles pursuant to the provisions of N.J.S.A. 39:4-204.

 

3.              No other vehicle shall be permitted to park in the designated spaces.

 

4.              Signs, as prescribed by N.J.S.A. 39:4-198, shall be placed at the places where this ordinance is effective. Appropriate signs, type R 7/8 should be installed.
