Ordinance Vacating Handicapped Parking Zones at 588 Devon Street and 261 Wilson Avenue

Body

WHEREAS, the handicapped person for whom a restricted parking zone had been established previously at 588 Devon Street by Ordinance 2014-18 has died; and

 

WHEREAS, renewal of the application for a handicapped parking spot previously established by Ordinance 2015-241 at 261 Wilson Avenue was denied by Dr. Ambrosio; and

 

WHEREAS, the applicant appealed the decision; and

 

WHEREAS, the appeal was heard by Doctor Ambrosio and was rejected on January 17, 2019; now, therefore, be it

 

ORDAINED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of Kearny, Hudson County, New Jersey that:

 

1.              The handicapped parking zones previously established in front of 588 Devon Street and 261 Wilson Avenue be and hereby are vacated and rescinded.

 

2.              The signs as prescribed by N.J.S.A. 39:4-198 shall be removed.
