WHEREAS, the Open Public Meetings Law, N.J.S.A. 10:4-12, et seq. allows the holding of closed meetings by public bodies of the State of New Jersey on the following matters relating to anticipated litigation, litigation, contract negotiations, and personnel matters, to wit: Review of Recommendations from the Police Chief for Reserve Crossing Guard Positions, Discussion of the Anticipated Litigation regarding the Keegan Landfill with Attorneys Jim Bruno and Wanda Chin Monahan; and

              WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council of the Town of Kearny intend to hold a closed meeting on March 26, 2019.

              NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and Council of the Town of Kearny shall meet in closed session on March 26, 2019 at 9:00 p.m. to discuss the above subject matter; and

              BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the minutes reflecting said meeting and discussions held thereon shall be made public on or about six (6) months after the date of this closed meeting or at the conclusion of such matters as discussed at said closed meeting.
